Current Openings: Customer Service Specialist

Olson Plumbing & Heating Co. is looking for a Customer Service Specialist.  This individual will be part of a vibrant team tasked with communicating with our service customers and service team.  Olson Plumbing & Heating Co., a family owned business with the reputation of commitment to integrity and customer service, has been a successful business in Colorado Springs since 1917.

The right candidate will have a background in:

• Successful performance in an office setting
• Phone experience with customers
• Microsoft Office
• Document control
• Working on a team

• Receives incoming customer calls
• Listens to customer’s inquiries; ask questions to determine service needs
• Coordinates with dispatch for proper scheduling
• Prepares work orders to assign service technicians to various locations
• Monitors daily service calendar to acquire awareness to scheduling availability
• Calls customers to communicate about upcoming appointments, including confirming and scheduling monthly maintenance contract appointments
• Files customer paperwork
• Researches service work order paperwork; brings unbilled work orders to the attention of the Service Manager
• Enters new customer information and work orders into the accounting system
• Provides administrative support to Service Manager as needed
• Maintains a well organized work environment
• May be cross trained in other service administrative work such as scheduling and preparing paperwork for back flow customers or preparing maintenance agreements for customers
• Performs other relevant and related duties as assigned by Service Manager
