Job Title: Assistant Warehouse Manager
Department: Construction
Classification: Full Time – Non-Exempt
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing and distributing materials, tools, equipment and products.
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Direct Reports: No
Essential Functions:
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments
  • Inspect incoming materials for damages and discrepancies
  • Properly store materials in designated locations within the warehouse
  • Maintain inventory records by accurately documenting quantities, materials received, distributed or returned
  • Prepare orders for shipment by picking and packing items according to specifications
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations
  • Delivering and picking up various materials
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill projects orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Overtime and on-call on rotation
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software a plus
  • Experience with Procore a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if necessary
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following established protocols
  • Clean DMV record and background check

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, speak, hear, use eye/hand coordination, use motor skills, and use personal office equipment and lift 50 pounds without assistance.  The employee is required to stand and walk.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range: Non-Union $25.00 per Hour Union Wage if Applicable
